We have all been enamored by Spell's Mystic Collection since the first drop last month, and now at last we have released the second drop (shop the collection here)! From the blooms and roaming horses of the Mystic print, to the metallic threads, to the pop of leopard in Ada, to the ethereal lace of the Le Gauze pieces, this capsule lives up to its name, embodying an elusive style of magic and mystery. Adding to the allure of Mystic is how precious and limited this collection is - it is the last Spell drop that we will have for 2020. Along with the rush of excitement we are feeling with this new rush of beauty is the reminder that it will be a long wait through Holiday and Winter before our next Spell collection comes in February. I know I'm giving myself permission to treat myself to my favorites now while I can!

 Mystic Robe

Though Spell's home of Byron Bay is just tiptoeing into Spring, this collection is strikingly suiting for us in the US as late Summer bleeds into Fall. The golden trends we have seen in the first half of 2020 continue - we are loving the contrast of dark black, olive, and rust with metallic threads, rich marigold, and dusty clay. We adore the Spell editorial team's take on styling these pieces, mixing the different color ways of the Mystic print to create a full boho look, but we also think there is room to style these pieces in a more muted or relaxed way by throwing in denim, booties, and the neutrals already in your closet. The Mystic Tasselled Robe is amazing as they have styled her with the Mystic Bells, but she takes on a different kind of effortless cool when paired with your favorite pair of worn-in denim, a black or neutral tank tucked in with a belt, and our wear every day essential Constellation Necklace.

Mystic Kerchief Dress

You know by now I love muted neutrals for Fall and Winter, and so between the Le Gauze (to die for) and the Leopard Ada Gown (obsessed) I am enamored with this drop's neutral pallet. The Le Gauze Lace pieces with a vegan leather jacket, an arm full of gold bangles, and black boots are 10/10 - it's an ideal way to transition into the idea of lights for the cooler months! Animal print is here to stay, and this delicate take on Leopard in the Ada pieces is the perfect palette cleanser if you're hesitant to dive into the trend. The high slit, long sleeve, creamy shades, and cinching tie are all details that had me at "hello".

Ada Gown

Because we have been so absorbed in all things Mystic this season, we curated some of our favorite mystical, spiritual, and wellness accessories so you too can fully embrace your inner Mystic. To start, we are beyond excited to release The Fox Tarot Deck for pre-order. Take mystic vibes to the next level by learning how to read tarot and open up your journey of self exploration.

I will definitely be snagging one of these decks for myself - I have never read tarot cards before but always taken joy in having them read. I think tarot is a bit misunderstood (as with many things in the realm of the mystical), and this deck in comes with a full guidebook so that even someone brand new to tarot can learn the ideas of traditional tarot wisdom, the meaning of the cards, and how to read them in order to gain insights into your self. Even better, this deck is beautifully designed and printed, with gold foil on the edges and illustrations that echo themes of the Spell Mystic print! Pair it with the Tarot Cloth for a thoughtful gift to yourself or someone who could use a little mystery and magic in their life.

Moving from self discovery and spiritual wellness to physical and mental wellness, we also have brand new treats from the Apothecary Company. All of their goods are handmade in small batches with organic ingredients (whenever possible) and without parabens, sulfates, PEG's, mineral oil, artificial fragrance, or silicones. All the products are also vegan, cruelty-free and sustainably sourced - basically everything we love! I have never dived into the world of essential oils, so the New Moon Manifesting Mist was the perfect intro in my book! It will be perfect to spritz in the room to get in the right relaxed mindset before sitting down with my new tarot deck.

For a new self-care ritual, we are loving the Abracadabra Salt Soak paired with the Natural Body Brush. It will give new life to your relaxation and beauty routine, while also polishing your skin to be silky soft and glowing. Finally, you won't want to miss out on our favorite new Hand Sanitizer- while we are living in this reality of fighting germs at every turn, we may as well do it with a product that comes in a pretty glass spray bottle, does its job right with 70% alcohol, and contains essential oils to keep your mind at ease and your hands and surfaces smelling lovely.

Something about the Mystic theme just hits right this time of year - the crisp air in New England is beginning to reappear, the harvest moon peeks out, Halloween is not too far away...it's just the thing we need to ease us toward the Autumn Equinox. Whether you find more magic in the clothing or the accessories, we hope you are as enthralled as we are with this collection and all its trappings.

xx Dakota
