Mother's Day is right around the corner, and now more than ever we are loving putting together surprises to brighten our mom's day. We are thinking of fun ways to celebrate some of the most important women in our lives this Mother's Day, even if the necessity for social distancing means that we can't be with them in person. We have put together a Mother's Day Collection for inspiration, and I thought I would share with you some of my favorite picks!
Back when quarantine just started, Natalie and I started putting together care packages for you to order for yourself or to send to a loved one. It has been such a fun way to shine a little light into someone's day, and we have so much fun making them! You select how much you want to spend, and we hand-pick a coordinated assortment of items and package them styled together with a hand-written love note. All you have to do is put sizing information and any preferences you have, plus the note you would like us to write for you in the notes section when you check out, and we take care of the rest! If you would like the care package to be more collaborative, you can also contact us and we can schedule a time for a call or video conference to pick out the perfect package for your mom together. We will do everything we can to make it fun to shop for Mother's Day while social distancing!
If you would prefer to pick out the gift yourself, or just want to see some of the goodies we have been loving to include in the Care Packages we build, read on! My newest favorite gift is the Macrame Tote Bag.
I'm loving this cotton open knit tote in all 4 colors, there's one to fit everyone's style. It's the perfect beach bag for the summer, or a tote to carry all your goodies at the market, or you can also wear it as your daily bag (it fits a laptop easily) and bring the beach vibes with you wherever you go.
We just got in the most fun Wine Candles, they come in 3 different wine-inspired scents and sit in a glass container handmade from a repurposed wine bottle -so perfect if you and your mom love spending time over a glass of wine. We love pairing them with this Cheers Matchbox, they look so cute together on a coffee table, and lift your mood every time you light them!
Jewelry is always fitting for a celebration. I am loving this Larimar Ring for an extra special gift. The dainty gold mixed with the sea and sky tones of the larimar stone make this piece unique and something your mom will reach for daily.
If you and your mom share a love of clothing, there is nothing more fun than shopping for a piece for her - she will think of you every time she puts it on! I'm loving this Bayside Pullover, it's a timeless classic but the open knit and flare sleeve make it unique and different enough to stand out in your mom's closet as a new treasure!
No matter your price point or your mom's style, we can make it easy to put together a care package that is thoughtful and tailored to her. Social distancing may be keeping us apart physically, but we can shop with you virtually to pick out a gift that your mom will love. While we may not all be able to celebrate with our moms the way we want to, no gift or surprise is too small to show her you are thinking about her and celebrating her from afar!
If you live in RI, we can hand deliver your Mother's Day gift on the day of your choice (even right on Mother's Day!) We ship everywhere else in the US for free - we recommend ordering by Monday, May 4 to be certain your package will arrive in time.
Check out our Mother's Day Collection to see the rest of our favorite picks for more gift inspiration and join us for H&T Happy Hour this Friday, May 1st at 5:30 EST at @harperantucker Instagram Live! Bring a cocktail and questions - this week we will be talking about how we build our Care Packages, showing you some of our favorite gifts for Mother's Day, and sharing our ideas for thoughtful surprises!

We are kicking-off Earth Month with a check-in one year after the Closet Clean-Out Challenge. Following the guidelines from Elizabeth's Cline's book The Conscious Closet: The Revolutionary Guide to Looking Good While Doing Good, we are getting candid and reflecting upon how sustainability can look different person-to-person.
