It's been so hard to keep this little secret, but we are so excited to announce that Harper & Tucker will be opening a store at 210 Wayland Avenue in Providence, RI this Spring! Providence feels like the perfect spot for our second permanent brick and mortar store, and we are planning to open our doors on Wayland Square as early as May.
One of the most exciting parts of opening a new store is meeting the neighborhood and becoming a part of a new community. Providence holds a special place in my heart; I went to high school just a few blocks from Wayland Square, and in a lot of ways this feels like coming home the same way that opening a store on Bellevue did. Yet so much has changed since I was last there every day!
Harper & Tucker will be in great company on Wayland Ave, with a mix of well established and new businesses. Lululemon has just joined the block, and Bar and Board Bistro (another business that opened first in Newport) will be opening a second restaurant across the street from our shop. Pasta Beach is just a block from us on Bellevue and will also be our neighbor on Wayland. We are loving the emerging trend of local businesses placing storefronts both in Newport and Providence, and are thrilled to be a part of it.
We will be introducing all the brands we currently carry on Bellevue and online to the new Wayland store. Having another shop allows us to expand our collection by adding more styles from the brands you already know and love at Harper & Tucker, and to add new brands - which will be exciting no matter which of our stores you shop at!
We will keep you all updated as we embark on this new adventure in Providence - keep an eye out for our grand opening date!
We have all been enamored by Spell's Mystic Collection since the first drop last month, and now at last we have released the second drop (shop the collection here)! From the blooms and roaming horses of the Mystic print, to the metallic threads, to the pop of leopard in Ada, to the ethereal lace of the Le Gauze pieces, this capsule lives up to its name, embodying an elusive style of magic and mystery.
