Launched in 2015, MACHETE accessories are designed for everyday wear with both beauty and function in mind. MACHETE crafts pieces that will endure and become modern heirlooms. Each piece is handcrafted in Italy with care from ethically-sourced, sustainable materials.
MACHETE's high-quality acetates are bio- or plant-based and derived from biodegradable, renewable resources like wood pulp or cotton linters. To ensure the coloring process for the acetates are safe, Machete uses eco-friendly dyes like organic pigments, and solvent or dispersed dyes. Their metals are comprised of recycled brass and ethically sourced silver and gold. MACHETE accessories are all stored in reusable, eco-friendly EVA zip bags, never in one-use plastics.
