POPPY + SAGE started as a passion project for jet-setters Carley and Robert Waters after taking a vacation to Bali, Indonesia in early 2017. Carley fell in love with the beautiful handwoven bags by local artisans, and immediately knew she wanted to introduce these bags to a larger market with the hope to empower the Balinese women-artisans creating them.
