Ricki Rum is a collection of sustainable swimwear founded in Rhode Island by friends Lauren and Marissa. Inspired by the New England summers of their youth, the founders are dedicated to doing what they can to preserve the ocean they grew up swimming in. All Ricki Rum suits are made from recycled ocean pollution - fishing nets, plastic bottles, and fabric scraps that are remade into fabric. Every suit is reversible (so you get 2 suits in 1!) and designed to celebrate and flatter all body types.
Ricki Rum, the nickname of the founder's late father, is a combination of his first name and the street he lived on. The logo is in his handwriting.
