All the way from Byron Bay, Australia, Arnhem embodies wanderlust and the bohemian spirit. We love the line's bold, playful colorways in floral prints and effortless, breezy silhouettes. Arnhem embodies the Australian coast the brand calls home, and will bring a dose of bright, sunny Byron to wherever you are.
The brand's founder and namesake Arnhem Bickley lived an unconventional and wild childhood traveling far and wide with her parents. She describes being born into a "lifestyle of color and beauty," which is still reflected in her designs, even as she is settled now with her family in Byron Bay with her own daughters. Artistic prints inspired by her travels characterize her designs, which burst with coastal summer colors that take on a personality of their own. Made in limited batches, the pieces have a "one-off" feel to them, so that every wearer is inspired to embrace her own individuality and identity.
Arnhem's commitment to sustainability drives every decision they make behind the scenes. Arnhem strictly uses Lenzing Tencel, Ecovero, and organic or BCI certified cotton fibers. 86% of Arnhem's printed collections are printed digitally, a much cleaner and greener alternative to traditional screen printing which wastes more dye pigments. Arnhem operates with a zero plastic policy, and all paper packaging is made from FSC certified recycled material. To date, they have saved more than 130,000 plastic garment bags. Arnhem is committed to partnering with factories that have been audited by an accredited organization and meet or exceed international standards for labor and social compliance.

Painted Heart's signature print Harmony comes in three colorways: Lilac, Mint and Strawberries & Cream. Harmony is consciously crafted from 100% LENZING™ ECOVERO™ - soft, durable fibers made of renewable raw wood pulp, derived from responsibly managed forests. This fabrication has 50% lower emissions & water impact than generic viscose.
We are dying for the sets in Drop 1 (available now!). In Lilac, we have both a midi and mini version of the skirt, which both pair beautifully back to the blouse. We also love the idea of the harmony blouse tied up and paired with our Boyish denim, or the skirts paired with an oversized chunky knit and white bootie. In Mint, we have the perfect pair of the mini skirt and the cami - worn together this look can disguise itself as a flouncy playdress, but we also love to break up the pieces for an eclectic feel. The lilac and the mint are both refreshingly bright and feminine, with a floral that gives a dainty, vintage charm.
You know we are a lover of all things Australian, and because their seasons are opposite ours, I feel that the collections breathes life into our lives here in the USA by offering some contrast. Fall doesn't have to be filled with neutrals and earthy tones - we can shake it up with a dash of brightness that reflects the lingering warmth in these Indian summer days. Have fun styling your favorite cozy sweaters and booties with these lighter pieces; I love the the contrast of knit and leather textures with feminine florals.
